The Opportunity 

As a Demand Planning Analyst for our Meat category, you won’t just be crunching numbers,you’ll be the heartbeat of our supply strategy. Working with our E2E meat experts and suppliers, you will forecast the future, bridging the gap between medium and long-term demand. Your mission? To ensure our shelves are always stocked with the quality our customers expect, empowering our partners to deliver excellence every single day.

  • Lead Demand Consensus: Facilitate high-impact sessions with Suppliers and E2E Meat teams to align on a single, unified forecast.
  • Architect Precision Plans: Deliver highly accurate, item-level forecasts across all time horizons and product tiers.
  • Master Predictive Analytics: Build and refine statistical models by evaluating historical trends, market drivers, and seasonal patterns.
  • Drive Root-Cause Intelligence: Rigorously analyze forecast variances to uncover insights and continuously sharpen accuracy.
  • Synchronise Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to integrate real-time marketing and sales insights into your models.
  • Optimise Inventory Strategy: Influence inventory health—including safety stock and product life cycles—by providing data-backed recommendations to E2E teams.

What You’ll Bring

  • Analytical Powerhouse: You possess an innate ability to cut through complex data to identify the "why" behind the numbers, turning problems into actionable solutions.
  • Master Communicator: You excel at translating technical forecasts into compelling narratives, effortlessly building rapport with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Forecasting Expertise: You are a pro at statistical modeling and understand exactly how your numbers ripple across the P&L and operational efficiency.
  • The Precision Standard: You combine an eagle eye for detail with a resilient, positive mindset, ensuring every project is delivered with uncompromising quality.
  • Strategic Time Management: You juggle multiple time horizons and competing priorities with ease, maintaining order and clarity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: You are fluent in demand planning software,such as JDA, UDF, SAP/APO, Manugistics, or Oracle and eager to leverage the right tools to drive results.
  • Educational Foundation: You hold a tertiary qualification or possess significant, hands on retail experience that has sharpened your industry instincts.
