What you’ll do | Hei mahi
You’ll lead, manage, and administer the forecast, demand and supply for B2B customers, delivering the most accurate forecast plan and engaging stakeholders to ensure service and contractual commitments are met.
Specifically, the role will see you:
- Lead the management of forecast, demand and supply to deliver the most accurate forecast plan for B2B customers.
- Facilitate the collaborative planning process, engaging category managers and supply teams, to ensure service and contractual commitments are met.
- Provide input to the Supply Planning teams in developing inventory strategies
- Act as the conduit of information between the B2B business, customers and the larger replenishment function.
- Establish new processes and procedures, and guide stakeholders on existing ones, to support changing business needs and planning to required timelines.
- Manage B2B exclusive inventory controls and deliver operational reporting and KPI measurement.

You will need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively drive and influence business results. The role requires a strong demonstration of statistical and advanced analytical expertise, especially in applying forecasting methodologies.
To be successful in this position, you will:
- Leverage your advanced analytical skills and deep proficiency in statistical forecasting methods to build ongoing forecasts, identify critical demand trends and drive confident, data-backed decisions (approximately 40% technical focus).
- Possess exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities to effectively act as the key information conduit, engaging and influencing both in Replenishment and across the broader business (approximately 60% focus).
- Thrive working autonomously as the sole B2B Demand Planner in the NZ team, demonstrating the resilience and drive to champion your function and lead execution excellence.
- Have a proactive and dedicated approach, including a positive attitude and the commitment to handle critical daily checks requiring an early start between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM.
- Preferably bring knowledge of specialised demand planning software (such as JDA, SAP/APO or forecast platforms) and intermediate skills in MS Excel will enable immediate success in optimising planning processes.
