What you'll do
Our goal is to have customers put us first, across all our brands. One of the keys to achieving and sustaining this is building and maintaining lean systems and end-to-end processes. As the IT DC Support Technician, you will play a critical role by providing a people facing, technical support function across three of our Distribution centres in Victoria. You will and can be expected to work from more than one site per week.
We are a Statewide team providing support to IT BAU , Projects and IT Changes into our Warehouses. Your strong customer facing skills, and collaborative style will assist you in supporting the national team countrywide. As a self starter you will provide quality technical support services to all customers in a professional, responsive and effective manner for desktop computing hardware, software applications, mobility devices, and numerous other technology solutions
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role you have proven experience providing technical support to a complex Distribution Centre and you will ideally demonstrate:
- Strong customer facing skills, business acumen, and integrity
- A collaborative style, able to work with and assist local, interstate teams, and external support partners
- Experience working within an ITIL environment
- Availability to travel interstate to relieve team members - potentially one or two assignments per year
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills along with a working knowledge of WMS
- Innovative thinking and analysis that influences a more productive environment for our customers
