About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
Woolworths NZ is on a mission to create the most connected customer experiences, and we're looking for a hands-on expert to lead our customer activation and orchestration. This is your chance to turn rich customer insights into powerful, connected activities across our entire digital ecosystem.
This is a pivotal, delivery-focused role where you will build our "audience highway," establishing the critical processes to syndicate and activate customer segments at scale. Your initial focus will be on forging the end-to-end technical connections to minimise manual input and equipping our partners with the tracking and tools they need to succeed. You will then scale our use of targeted customer cohorts, deploy advanced personalisation on our site and app, and drive us toward a future of automated, near real-time personalisation. Once implemented, lead the optimisation and performance of the platform.
Own the audience activation process, creating a connected and consistent experience for customers across our digital ecosystem.
Work hands-on with data and technology teams to build and scale an efficient end-to-end "audience highway" and process flows.
Manage the syndication and activation of audiences to core platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), DSPs, and onsite personalisation tools.
Collaborate with our Australian counterparts to leverage group-wide tools, processes, and audience strategies to accelerate progress in the NZ market.
Support and troubleshoot the technical connections between our data sources and activation channels to ensure a seamless flow of information.
Act as the internal subject matter expert for our partners on customer data, helping them unlock the full potential of our internal technology stack.
Develop and maintain operational playbooks to streamline campaign launches and ensure adherence to best practices.
About You | Mōu
You’ll be a seasoned expert in data-driven operations with a knack for turning complex audience insights into tangible business growth. Rather than a traditional campaign focus, you bring the patience and technical curiosity needed to build robust processes and partner deeply with technical teams to reach shared goals.
10 years+ of experience in digital marketing operations (not solely campaign management) or a data-heavy function, with a proven track record of activating first-party data in complex environments.
Technical knowledge of tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, GA4, and DSPs, coupled with a solid grasp of eCommerce growth drivers.
Experience working alongside technical and data teams as a true partner, not just a recipient of deliverables, to map out and execute intricate workstreams.
A natural educator who can influence stakeholders and lead diverse teams, keeping everyone focused on the bigger picture.
A respectful, solution-oriented problem solver who thrives in fast-paced settings and enjoys the challenge of building scalable processes from the ground up.
Our Benefits | To Tatou Painga
Genuine flexibility in how and where you work
Ongoing development within an ANZ team and access to COE/specialist career opportunities
Grocery discount card and discounted online shopping delivery
Banking and insurance (health, life, etc.) discounts
Global and local career opportunities
