What you'll do

As our Contractor Safety Specialist, you will take the lead in embedding a robust safety risk management framework, specifically focusing on the continuous improvement and deployment of our third-party platform, Site 360. You will act as the bridge between business requirements and technical execution, translating business needs and legislative needs into practical workflows, supported by our vendor, that ensure the safety of our contractor network.

  • Define, document, and test functional system requirements for Site 360, collaborating with our external vendor to build and deploy critical updates.

  • Apply deep expertise to distinguish between contractor and team member requirements, ensuring all safety management systems (SMS) align with current Australia and New Zealand safety legislation.

  • Serve as the system subject matter expert for internal teams, providing hands-on training and guidance to embed new technologies and ensure accountability across the Group.

  • Prepare  reports & data insights to  support senior management decision-making and identification of emerging risks.

  • Manage central communications and foster strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive alignment with industry best practices.


What you'll bring

Bring onboard your blend of technical Analyst skills and safety expertise/ contractor knowledge to translate business requirements into digital solutions while managing the complexities of our SMS. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, using your ability to interpret complex data and compliance requirements to empower stakeholders and drive safety outcomes across the Group.


  • Sound experience in a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator role, accompanied by understanding of health and safety risk management, contractor and supplier onboarding, frameworks and legislation.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, across multi-level operations and third-party vendors; acting as a representative and SME to many.

  • Ability to utilise data analytics tools to interpret complex datasets, generating actionable performance insights and recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated track record in resolving complex compliance issues and interpreting safety legislation to enhance modern risk assessment methodologies.
