What you'll do | Hei mahi

The Continuous Improvement Specialist is a key collaborator who works with business teams to identify opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions that promote efficiency and high standards. Sitting within our WWNZ Commercial team, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert for key systems and processes, championing operational excellence by identifying and implementing improvements, documenting processes, and supporting new rollouts with necessary coaching. This includes assisting with systems UAT and recommending solutions for both new and existing initiatives to ensure simplicity, operational integration, and data accuracy. You’ll help to establish frameworks and standards for consistency, delivering robust process improvement and data governance in line with business strategy while aligning with the wider Woolworths group.

The role extends to training and education, where you’ll collaborate on training requirements and provide coaching. Effective stakeholder collaboration is also crucial, as you’ll partner with various teams, including Commercial, IT, Finance, and Digital, to understand their needs and provide recommendations that enhance data integrity and system reliability. Finally, you’ll own changes to processes and technologies, ensuring alignment with ecosystem principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data quality.

What you’ll bring | Hei koha

You'll have over two years of experience in a commercial, buying, or enablement function, with a proven ability to build strong relationships, analyse information, and adapt to change while demonstrating initiative. Your comprehensive understanding of buying processes, combined with experience in retail/FMCG commercial environments, allows you to apply strong problem-solving, commercial acumen, and planning skills to every task. You'll be adept at identifying, analysing, and documenting business requirements for process improvement and system enhancements, with a proven track record in system troubleshooting, defect management, and UAT. You'll also have hands-on experience in process mapping and re-engineering. Your technical skills will include intermediate to strong proficiency in SAP, Salesforce, Partner Hub, PMR, Portal, and Google applications. Finally, you'll excel at delivering exceptional service to stakeholders, supported by excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and training skills.
