What you’ll do
Create highly engaging, platform-first social content that captivates audiences, builds community, and achieves desired customer and business outcomes.
- Independently film, edit, and produce highly engaging short-form video content across all Social platforms utilising industry-standard software including Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Photoshop.
- Function seamlessly both behind and in front of the camera. Confidently serve as on-screen talent when required, and effectively direct other team members or talent during video shoots.
- Write compelling, brand-aligned copy for social media captions, video scripts, and on-screen text to drive reach and engagement.
- Proactively monitor emerging digital culture, viral trends, and new content formats. Apply this market intelligence to develop relevant, high-performing content tailored to the specific algorithms of each platform.
- Track content performance using native platform analytics. Translate data and customer insights into actionable creative choices to continuously optimise our social media output, enhance engagement, and report back to marketing stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- 4-5+ years of experience in social media content creation, supported by a strong portfolio or social media presence demonstrating advanced video editing, shooting, and design capabilities.
- Proven track record scripting, shooting, and editing high-retention vertical videos (TikTok, YouTube Shorts) aligned with national brand campaigns, agency direction, and seasonal trading windows.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop, and Canva, with expertise in SEO optimization through 3-second keyword hooks, search-friendly descriptions, SRT captions, and alt-text.
- Deep understanding of digital culture, platform algorithms, and community management across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
- Highly organized, resilient individual contributor capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
