The Opportunity


Due to internal move in the team we have an opportunity for a Commercial Advisory Manager to join the Woolworths Group Finance Team. In this pivotal role, you will partner directly with key business stakeholders to provide consultation and support in developing comprehensive business cases for investment proposals. Your core responsibilities will revolve around conducting feasibility analysis for proposed investments and rigorously tracking their performance.


What You’ll Do 


As a Commercial Advisory Manager, you will drive value across the organisation by:

  • Providing strategic commercial decision support

  • Leading the end-to-end development of business cases

  • Building robust financial models to support business cases and evaluate broader investment opportunities

  • Delivering independent insights and objective advice regarding the end-to-end impact of investments on the group

  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to track, analyse, and report on the performance of major projects

  • Capturing and embedding learnings to continuously improve the delivery of both in-flight and future investments

  • Proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance reporting


What You’ll Bring


Your exceptional commercial acumen, effective interpersonal skills, and proven ability to successfully navigate a large, complex business environment will be key to your success.

  • Developing and evaluating financial models, as well as preparing business cases that directly support investment decisions

  • Acting as a trusted partner who effectively balances subject-matter expertise with practical, commercial judgment

  • Succeeding in dynamic environments by successfully managing evolving priorities and tight deadlines

  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and influencing outcomes through a methodical and consultative approach

  • CPA / CA Qualifications with 5+ years of experience in Finance
