What you'll do:

The Channel Marketing Manager is a senior member of the Everyday Needs team. As an expert in the non-food category, this role is responsible for providing our client base with compelling retail media narratives that drive scaled adoption of our offerings, as well as more targeted material for the sales team to unlock specific client or vertical impact.


Key to this role is the ability to develop, co-ordinate and deliver GTM content, programs and points of view that are client centric and specific to each category and their nuanced customer behaviour. The role will also have some client-facing responsibility. 


As a member of the EDN leadership team, the Channel Marketing Manager will be a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for retail media. They will be a strong leader with clear points of view, a persuasive and articulate communicator with excellent project management skills. They will have the ability to identify proactive opportunities, align priorities and shape outcomes. This individual must be deeply curious, able to partner effectively, navigate complex discussions, and influence outcomes. Possessing extensive knowledge of the vertical’s categories, clients and competitor context and a deep understanding of the Cartology One approach is key. 


You will operate in a home and delivery model - homed in Marketing and delivering exclusively in the vertical. As such, you will flourish in ambiguity and be an excellent communicator.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and create comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall vertical objectives. Identify and build key narratives and programs that translate into revenue growth.

  • Deliver impactful marketing programs that communicate Cartology's value proposition within the channel and key categories. This includes items such as go-to-market programs, case studies, category deep dives and sales enablement tools. 

  • Develop and deliver training programs, tools, and resources that empower the sales team to effectively sell Cartology's solutions. 

  • Be client-facing where appropriate. Gather and analyze client insights to continuously refine marketing and sales strategies.

  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of relevant categories, including trends, consumer behavior, and industry challenges. 

  • Performance Analysis: Track and measure the effectiveness of channel marketing initiatives using relevant KPIs. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and optimize marketing efforts.


What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in channel marketing (B2B) or a related field.

  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing and executing channel-specific marketing strategies.

  • Strong commercial storytelling skills

  • Strong understanding of sales enablement and go-to-market strategies.

  • Strong influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to influence outcomes with senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent Project Management skills
