What you’ll do
Working as part of the high performing sales team, the Category Lead in Client Partnerships will be tasked with successfully managing and driving revenue across a category vertical by engaging with both new and existing clients (suppliers). You will work closely with Client Partnership Managers and direct reports within your category to meet clients key business strategies and objectives.
Responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets for categories within your area of responsibility:
- Manage a team to build and grow revenue streams from a portfolio of both existing and new business clients
- Provide updates on business reporting including accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management for your allocated patch of categories.
- Manage and regularly report to senior management on how your vertical is tracking to target by month, quarter and halfyear
- Work closely with your Group Client Partnership Manager and Client Partnership Managers as well as direct report's (Client Partnership Executive) to develop and actively maintain an effective revenue strategy plan for monthly and quarterly goals
- Protect and grow existing trade revenue whilst also winning revenue from clients' marketing spend budgets
- Maintain regular meetings with direct reports to gain an understanding of their strengths and areas for development
- Engage with senior contacts in your category, building great business relationships and ensure you and your direct reports have an understanding of your clients' key strategies
What you’ll bring:
Naturally, you are someone who communicates with ease across all levels and is highly motivated to deliver results. You have experience with insight lead shopper marketing and brand campaigns with a bias for action. You are energised by a fast paced environment and consider yourself to be a skilled relationship builder, with the ability to foster strong partnerships with new and existing clients alike.
In Addition You Will Bring
- 5- 7 years experience in multi-channel media sales
- Demonstrated success in growing multi-channel media sales to a range of different client types
- Experience with selling digital media based on target audience characteristics.
- Expertise in managing campaigns that leverage a diverse range of coordinated media inventory (eg POS, print, email, targeted online, DOOH, radio and to a lesser extent TV)
- Experience of working with data sources to build strong campaign proposals
- Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with multiple client contacts to deliver positive outcomes
