What you'll do

As a key member of the Category & Marketing Integration (CMI) Team, you will maximise media and retail sales opportunities by ensuring Cartology is the connective tissue that makes the Woolworths Trade Plan work for our client brands. This requires deep collaboration across Woolworths Group business units to align category events with our broader commercial ambitions.  


Reporting into the Head of Category & Marketing Integration, you will provide strategic leadership necessary to identify proactive opportunities and help maintain a robust sales pipeline for the Cartology Sales Teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic direction of Category Events by identifying opportunities that ladder up to the broader Woolworths Trade Plan

  • Bring the Trade Plan to life by designing high-impact media solutions that deliver commercial outcomes for both Woolworths and Client Partners

  • Translate data and shopper insights into strategic, category-led GTM plans that help brands drive measurable growth and stronger customer engagement

  • Act as the conduit between Business Units (Everyday Rewards, CustomerX, BIG W) to ensure alignment and maximise integrated category opportunities

  • Use shopper performance metrics to build commercial cases, spot trends early, and pivot quickly to maximise category growth

  • Develop data-driven media mix and channel recommendations to ensure Customer-first advocacy and maximise the share of voice for Cartology


What you'll bring

  • You don't wait for the brief, you write it; you are commercially sharp and energised by navigating complexity

  • A deep understanding of the full channel mix and the shopper path-to-purchase, from high-level strategy to execution

  • The ability to leverage shopper data and media performance metrics to influence internal decisions and optimise campaigns

  • Extensive experience in executive-level engagement and building trust with high-performing Sales and Commercial teams.

  • A results-focused approach with a clear understanding of how category events impact the bottom line and overall business growth

  • Proven ability to lead projects and teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments while balancing multiple competing priorities
