A key pillar of Primary Connect’s strategic agenda is the continued growth of Primary Connect+ (Primary Connect’s commercialisation arm) providing end-to-end supply chain services (international, warehousing and domestic transport) to more than 1,300 (and growing) supplier customers within the Groups ecosystem.
What you’ll do
The objective of this role is to ensure the accurate and timey processing of data lifecycle management, resolution of complex queries, creating positive stakeholder outcomes and provision of insights to ensure the successful business execution, supplier payment and customer invoicing.
Duties include:
- Responsible for execution of administrative process and timely resolution of stakeholder queries
- Review and checking data requests, resolution of exceptions and sourcing of data as required.
- Entry of master, operational and financial data to ensure timely business execution and customer and carrier experiences
- Reviewing, auditing, and checking data for errors or inconsistencies to ensure accuracy
- Cleaning up data and updating existing records
- Development of reporting and trend analysis to identify risks, opportunities and recommendations
- Executing weekly and monthly financial processes and associated management
- Effective communication on roadblocks and outcomes
- Collaboration on root cause analysis resulting in increased process adherence
- External and Internal stakeholder engagement and advisory to create successful outcomes, including onboarding and payment / invoice query resolution
- Provision of technical and business concept guidance to broader PC+ team, including subject matter expert contribution to initiatives
What you’ll bring
As the Business Support Specialist, you will be comfortable with high volumes of work to be processed and confident with stakeholder communication at all levels, eg, Sales Manager, Customers and Operations.
You will have:
- High level of data entry accuracy and timeliness
- High Computer literacy, including with spreadsheets and data (Google Sheets & Excel)
- Strong organisational skills for handling large volume of files and data and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with team members
- Ability to influence external stakeholders and create positive outcomes
- Ability to work autonomously with identifying opportunities and recommendations.
Experience using a variety of MS office suites or an interest in learning new systems
Previous experience in SAP, Salesforce, TMS highly regarded or have an interest to learn new systems quickly
Experience in transport industry highly regarded
Understanding of Australian Retail and FMCG Logistics environment desirable
Experience in Data Administration and systems desirable but not essential with the right candidate.
