What you’ll do
- Lead the development and execution of transition plans specifically tailored to navigate the Primary Connect DC network ensuring the successful alignment of replenishment streams, inbound transport, supporting DC ops, and outbound transport on PC projects.
- Partner & collaborate with Primary Connect Operational Leadership & cross-functional teams (including Replenishment, PC+, Commercial, DC Operations, DC Design, IT Support, Safety) & our 3PL partners to deliver smooth transitions
- Use data-driven thinking & performance insights from reporting to deliver results.
- Effectively identify & communicate risks and/or impediments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive risk management
- A thought leader with strong initiative and bravery to try new ideas and confidence to test and learn, ensuring smooth transitions and successful implementation of new strategies or processes.
- Act as the first point of contact for project delivery requirements, providing strategic guidance and expertise to internal and external partners.
What you’ll bring
- In-depth replenishment and network knowledge and experience within a large, complex retail / FMCG / supply chain environment
- Demonstrated success in supporting or leading projects that drive results in inventory optimisation, forecast accuracy, and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, making "brave commitments" and testing new ideas on the ground.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Flexibility to travel across Primary Connect DC Network (Sydney) to foster relationships
- Understanding of DC/ warehouse operations, product flow paths, and system constraints, (desirable)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the transportation industry, including road/rail and operational challenges (desirable)
- Ability to manipulate data using intermediate Excel functions and extract insights using BigQuery desired
