We are seeking a Finance Business Analyst to join the FinX Finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the FinX Finance Team by helping to report on business performance, forecast future business activity, and identify opportunities to enhance the profitability of the eCom business.
The core responsibilities of the Financial Business Analyst include:
- P&L Ownership: Take ownership of consolidating the eCom Profit & Loss statement, integrating results from individual business units (B2C, B2B, Last Mile).
- Overheads Lead: Act as the Finance lead for Overheads, specifically overseeing headcount reporting and analysis, and identifying potential risks and opportunities within overheads investments.
- Strategic Planning: Play a crucial role in the strategic planning process, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), by building and leveraging strong relationships with other finance teams.
- Reporting and Communication: Assist in communicating results to senior management through the creation of clear, concise presentation packs that clearly highlight the key drivers of performance.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with finance teams across FinX and the wider Group Function to design and implement best practice commercial processes, fostering a continuous improvement mindset.

You’ll bring excellent analytical skills coupled with a robust background in finance.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified CA or CPA, alongside a Tertiary degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, coupled with practical experience using SAP and PowerBI.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Demonstrated analytical skills supported by strong commercial acumen.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A logical, structured approach to effective problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to various stakeholders.
- Experience gained within high-growth Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and/or Digital business environments is desirable.
