Manager - Brand Design & Enablement

The Opportunity
To plan, manage, execute and deliver activity for the Woolworths brand through our current brand design systems. To enable and support the wider business by ensuring  that the Woolworths Group, Food Group, and Everyday brands are accessible and readily understood by our key stakeholders, partners and vendors through the delivery of building infrastructure, training, and build of systems and processes.


What you'll do

  • Support the implementation of brand strategies and frameworks to ensure alignment with the broader Food Group Brand Strategy and various Brand Design Systems.

  • Manage the execution of key brand assets and tools that enable consistency and efficiency in brand delivery.

  • Provide direction and support to internal teams on brand governance, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and standards.

  • Lead the development and rollout of relevant Brand Systems and optimisations, as well as key Brand projects identified across the wider business.

  • Create partnerships across the Food Group Brand, and Brand adjacent teams  (WFC, Metro, Woolies @ Work, Cartology) as well as our key agency partners to prioritise excellence in brand governance across every project. 


What you'll bring

  • Known & expert ability to distil complexity into clear, logical, actionable frameworks

  • Ability to lead a team to a collective outcome within a matrixed organisation

  • An excellent collaborator & influencer - this role requires a high degree of partnership

  • A sound understanding of the grocery retail landscape and what’s important to consumers in this space

  • Agency best practice - what good briefs look like, evaluating work, getting the best out of partnerships 

  • Brand and marketing communications strategy experience client or agency side
