What you’ll do | Hei mahi
We’re looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join our Brand & Marketing team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Chapter Lead. Joining our team you will be working on key initiatives for Trade.
Key Priorities for the role include:
Deliver high impact marketing campaigns (instore and digital) for our business partners and suppliers
Assisting with tactical initiatives (In collaboration with Merchandise, Operations, Cartology and Woolworths Marketing teams) that resonate with customers using globally recognised brands, and enables our broader Woolworths NZ brand ethos.
Support the briefing process for NZ agencies for creative, digital and media, and our in-store shopper kit
Support Cartology NZ in their go to market offer and understanding the right media and channel mix per campaign
Maintain and grow strategic relationships within the business (namely WWNZ marketing teams, Digital, Commercial, Merchandise and Cartology NZ), and external preferred business partners.

Your specific experience will likely reflect:
Proven similar experience in a Marketing role
Proven ability to work in a complex, fast paced retail environment
Exceptional collaboration, influencing and communication skills
Strong analytical skills, with particular focus on customer and business metrics, an ability to understand trends, question hypotheses and demonstrate ability to consider data in a decision making process
Omni-channel understanding of all customer touch points including online and in-store
