Woolworths Property is accountable for all property undertakings of the Woolworths Group and provides comprehensive, proactive property solutions to support the existing retail businesses and their future growth.


The Asset Management team is part of Woolworths Property and is responsible for the management, leasing, lease administration and disposals of the property assets owned or controlled by Woolworths.

The Opportunity
This role supports the Head of Capital Transactions & Investment Manager in executing Woolworths' property asset disposal strategy, encompassing diverse property types from retail shopping centres to mixed use development sites.

Working within the Asset Management team, the Assistant Capital Transaction Manager facilitates the successful sale of identified properties, contributing to the broader function of providing proactive property solutions for the Woolworths Group's growth.


What you’ll do

  • Prepare Board approval papers for the disposal of properties.
  • Manage the compilation of due diligence information for all on and off-market property disposals.
  • Work with internal stakeholders including Development Managers, Asset Managers and Property Managers to develop disposal strategies and external stakeholders including real estate agents and valuers.
  • Assist with real estate agents tender, appointment and campaign material preparation required for each transaction.
  • Manage the bi-annual property valuations process.
  • Manage the research database of relevant property transactions and industry research for internal reporting.
  • Support internal reporting through management and project reporting, and.
  • Complete investment management analysis and reporting to support the Asset Management team.
  • Manage sale completion processes, including settlement statement preparation, information distribution, and market activity monitoring.


What you’ll bring

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within a property agency or institution.
  • Knowledge of valuation principles, town planning, and market research
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Analytical mindset with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Communication and negotiation skills to develop opportunities and productive relations.
