In 2019, Woolworths Group established Australian Grocery Wholesalers (AGW) to act as a standalone domestic wholesale business supporting primarily our partnerships with Wholesale customers such as Ampol and Foodbank. As the business evolved, the scope was expanded to include remote indigenous communities, charity partners and in early 2021. The business is now focused on further growth opportunities within Remote Communities and Charity Partnerships
The Opportunity
We are seeking a customer-centric and highly detail-oriented Account Assistant to provide exceptional service to our customers. This role involves proactively managing customer accounts, ensuring we consistently deliver on our promises, and supporting the Key Account Manager to drive sales opportunities. Key responsibilities include managing customer master data, order management, claims administration, and importantly, the administration of promotional programs.
What you’ll do
- Customer Management: Handle the creation, maintenance, and discontinuation of product ranges for specific customer groups, including exclusive articles.
- SAP Master Data: Maintain and load critical product and pricing data into SAP.
- Customer Support: Manage the sales support email and phone line.
- Query and Order Resolution: Take full ownership of resolving all customer queries and ordering needs from start to finish.
- Sales Order Management: Oversee the sales order process, including checks, error resolution, and creating manual orders.
- Cross-Functional Support: Provide administrative support by arranging meetings, processing customer claims, and raising IT service tickets.
What you’ll bring
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel/Word and Google functions
- Experience using SAP
- Previous experience in an Administration Role or Customer Service / Buying environment with strong customer communication skills (written, verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines with tight time constraints
