What you'll do

As a Training Partner, you will act as a guardian of site compliance and process, ensuring all team members are trained in essential skills while managing training budgets and rostering to meet peak period demands. Your home team is the Career Services Delivery Tribe where you will be part of a larger Learning Delivery team across Australia and New Zealand. Day to day you will work in close partnership with DC Operations, Workforce Planning, the Primary Connect People Team to ensure the annual site training plan meets the safety and compliance standards. In your role you will be responsible to: 

  • Upskill the Workplace Coaches to deliver best practice technical training to the team, utilising data analysis to forward-plan skill requirements and maintain high standards across the site.

  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager & DC Senior Leadership team to ensure that frontline delivery of training in a Distribution Center (DC) is optimised

  • Bring a collaborative approach to the development of Learning Materials, streamlining ways of working and systems to gain efficiencies in the delivery of best practice learning

  • Implement the national learning approach, review training needs and support in forecasting, reporting and alignment of budgets through strong data analysis

  • Make data informed recommendations to Melbourne South Regional  DC Leadership Team that ensure the best operational return on investment


What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in end-to-end delivery of large-scale training plans using a variety of delivery approaches, including face-to-face, online, and blended learning methods

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data and formulate well considered training plans to optimise training and capacity on-site

  • Success in building relationships across a diverse stakeholder group & the ability to navigate a broad range of inputs

  • Previous experience as a known & trusted partner in a fast-paced & deadline driven environment

  • Desirable experience using AI, prompt engineering or a certificate IV in Training and Assessment

  • Strong critical thinking & influencing skills to generate support for new opportunities

  • Expertise in technical, compliance or skill training planning and delivery is highly advantageous
