What you’ll do

  • Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives
  • Design, create, execute, analyse, manual and automated tests both for the sprint as well as regression testing
  • Contribute to our DevOps processes around CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Participate in improving our Agile processes and QA best practices.
  • Working with API services and related microservices and SQL/No-Sql database
  • Develop high quality automated E2E test cases.
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies.
  • Support production deployment of applications
  • Ability to write clear bug reports quickly and concisely and collaborate with developers to get them fixed
  • Carry out exploratory testing within an Agile environment

 


What you’ll bring 

  • 5+ years’ industry Web testing experience (Backend API/event driven systems)
  • Proficient Functional and Automation testing experience 
  • Strong experience in modern QA practices and disciplines.
  • Strong experience testing applications following microservice architectures
  • Resiliency on changing requirements and features and being able to shift focus
  • Experience in API automation using CYPRESS or PLAYWRIGHT
  • Expertise in testing and mocking of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with API testing tool like POSTMAN or SWAGGER
  • Experience with SQL databases  essential and experience with testing NoSQL databases highly desirable
  • Experience with CI/CD, AZURE DevOps 
  • Experience in testing Event based systems, service bus or message queues (Azure Event Hubs/Service Bus)
  • Good understanding of microservice architectures along with Agile & Lean delivery principles
  • Experience with programming language such as C#/Javascript is highly desirable along with UI Automation
