Print & Textile Designer (Babywear) - Big W - 11 Month Contract

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with the product design team to create prints that align with the customer range and category needs.

  • Research and interpret print trends to develop commercial designs for a high-volume retailer's diverse product range.

  • Drive conversion and sales by continuously reviewing the performance of designed ranges, using key customer insights to refine and improve the ranges.

  • Clear understanding on print techniques and translation of print designs onto fabric and in garment ranges. 

  • End to End understanding of design in a retail environment from conceptualisation to finished product

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team that is adaptable, customer-focused, and driven to deliver value and quality for the Big W customers.


What you’ll bring

  • Formal qualification in Textiles or Graphics Design

  • Previous experience in a Print Designer role for a large retail business including the creation of repeated and placed prints, colour and illustration skills and textile print techniques

  • Demonstrated experience in accountability designing for a medium-large volume and medium complexity of styles.
