What you’ll do
As Analytics and Insights Manager you will be instrumental in shaping our Partnerships strategy by transforming complex data into clear, commercially-driven outcomes and will lead a team of Senior & Lead analysts within the Loyalty Partnerships Business Area. You will be accountable for the delivery of insights, analytics & data science solutions in this area. You will champion a data-driven culture. Acting as a key advocate for the use of data and analytics in decision-making within the BU.
Take ownership and accountability for the delivery of data analytics, insights, data modelling, dashboarding & reporting for a distinct business unit stream within the Loyalty business unit.
Structure nebulous problem statements and develop hypotheses / issue trees to determine the solution(s).
Transforming data into actionable insights, creating compelling narratives and providing thought leadership to stakeholders, driving business value.
Triage, assess & prioritise incoming requests to the team in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
Provide line leadership for analysts within the business area, building & fostering a high performing analytics team.
Oversee data governance and output quality by establishing & maintaining output quality standards and governance processes for the team to ensure the accuracy and reliability of insights.
Foster cross-functional collaboration on data initiatives by actively seeking out opportunities to partner with other data and analytics teams across Woolworths Group to share best practices, leverage collective expertise, and work on joint initiatives.
What you’ll bring
Your exceptional relationship building, provide thought leadership on ambiguous problems, and fosters a high-performing, data-driven team culture. Your provocative nature will see youidentifying opportunities for high-impact analytics projects that align with the strategic goals of the Loyalty business unit and creating roadmaps for their execution.
Extensive experience working in analytics and insights, preferably in a loyalty program context and/or retail/FMCG industries.
Strong experience in leveraging advanced analytics to drive business value.
Ability to bring structure to nebulous problem statements and develop hypotheses / issue trees to drive insight in a structured way
Highly proficient in translating complex findings into a compelling narrative, driving business outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder influencing & business partnering including the ability to seamlessly navigate diverse stakeholder environments.
Experience and knowledge of advanced analytical and statistical skills - A/B testing, regression, hypothesis testing.
Highly proficient in data query and manipulation (advanced level SQL).
