What you'll do

In the Experience Product Lead position, you will be accountable for a distinct product portfolio across a critical section of the Woolworths customer journey.

You will lead and empower teams to define and execute strategic initiatives that deliver exceptional, seamless digital commerce experiences on Woolworths' web and app platforms, ultimately driving significant customer satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue growth across your designated portfolio.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this position, you'll need to demonstrate Product Strategy, Prioritisation and Product Roadmap exposure and experience. You should also demonstrate Customer Research and Data Insights Capability. Moreover, you need to showcase Commercial Acumen and Go-To-Market experience. 

In further detail, the core capabilities you need to present are:

  • Product strategy: Defines and aligns product strategies for your portfolio based on emerging factors, communicates how it is aligned to business strategy and purpose and provides focus across Squads.

  • Prioritisation: Prioritises and explains trade-offs throughout the design and development of my product, reducing time to market and increasing return on investment.

  • Customer Research: Derives and actively shares valuable insights around product desirability and viability based on unmet customer needs that helps the organisation deliver successful and profitable products.

  • Data Insights: Uses data insights to significantly and measurably improve the product’s performance.

  • Go-to-Market: Drives discussions with marketing, Customer Hub and others across complex product launches ensuring they are a success and the entire customer experience is delivered.

  • Commercial Acumen: Makes financially sound critical product decisions, understands financial trade offs that impact the profitability of the business and uses this as an input to their decisions, defines and aligns business cases & revenue models for the product.

  • Product Roadmap: Creates an outcome driven, value based Product roadmap that has the support of the organisation, makes clear the product's direction, and connects to the organisational strategy and purpose.
