What you’ll do
We are seeking a Service-driven IT Support Professional to join our team as an End User Compute Technician. In this role, you will specialise in delivering exceptional onsite assistance and providing vital end user education. We are looking for a candidate who is adept at bridging the gap between complex technical problems and user friendly solutions across our desktop, mobile, and software environments. If you are a natural at providing support with patience, clarity, and urgency, and you are passionate about empowering teams through reliable technology, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Providing technical support for desktop computing, software applications, mobile devices, and other technology solutions.
Utilising ServiceNow for incident management, problem tracking, and service restoration.
Managing IT equipment patching and maintaining accurate records for structured cabling.
Coordinating and implementing the installation IT equipment in the Comms Room.
Providing first-line support for network infrastructure and escalating complex issues.
Assisting users with office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and demonstrating strong knowledge of Google services such as gmail, google docs.
Participating in an on-call rotation for out-of-hours support.
Demonstrating knowledge of Azure Intune
What You’ll bring
You bring a solid track record in IT support and know the ins and outs of a similar fast-paced environment.
You have exceptional communication skills and can translate "tech-speak" into plain English with empathy and patience.
You have sharp analytical abilities and love digging into the root cause of complex problems rather than just applying a quick fix.
You are comfortable navigating incident management systems (like ServiceNow) to track, prioritise, and resolve tickets efficiently.
A strong foundation in network infrastructure and troubleshooting,you know what keeps us connected.
You are a pro with Google Workspace applications and know how to help others get the most out of the suite.
