What you’ll do:
Sitting with the Digital Commerce Experience Data COE, the remit of the Analytics Lead will be broad, working across customer, digital and commercial analytics. Responsibilities include measuring, tracking and optimising the performance of the tools and features on the Woolworths Website and App, and delivering actionable insights to drive our eCommerce business. You will be instrumental in shaping our strategy by transforming complex data into clear, commercially-driven recommendations. You will not only tackle our most challenging business problems but also mentor and guide a talented team of analysts, elevating the quality and impact of their work.
Transform analytical output into actionable insights, turning digital and commercial data into customer, commercial, and digital insights
Be accountable for the delivery of analytics and data transformation projects
Structure nebulous problem statements and develop plans or hypotheses to determine the solution(s)
Develop frameworks to ensure consistency and accuracy of analytics
Provide mentoring, guidance as well as QA & peer review on outputs for a small group of analysts within the business area, building & fostering a high performing analytics team
Build reports and customised data models/dashboards to track & evaluate performance of the Woolworths Website and App
Support stakeholders with strategic insights identified through deep dives and A/B tests, and influence the shape of our Digital Commerce experiences
Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure that new features have appropriate digital tracking so that we can appropriately measure their impact
Prioritise and respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from internal stakeholders
Champion a data-driven culture: Act as a key advocate for the use of data and analytics in decision-making within the team and across the wider business
What you’ll bring:
Ability to drive insights from data and present data to different sets of stakeholders as well as working knowledge of Advanced analytical skills such as A/B testing and regression.
4+ years of experience working as an insights/customer/data analyst. Commercial and Digital Analysis experience is a bonus
Experience in leading data analysis or transformation projects end-to-end
Degree in a quantitative area e.g. Actuarial, Maths/Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc
Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
Strong SQL, data analysis skills. Experience with Adobe Analytics, BigQuery, Python, and Looker Studio highly desirable
Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
