What you’ll do:


The General Manager - In-Store Marketing is a critical leadership position responsible for defining, developing, and executing the holistic in-store marketing strategy for our network of 1,000+ retail stores nationwide. This role ensures a consistent, compelling, and effective brand experience at the point of sale, driving customer engagement, increasing conversion, and supporting promotional campaigns across all stores.


  • Strategic Vision & Commercial Acumen: Define and own the long-term in-store marketing strategy (POS, signage, digital), using data-driven insights to balance immediate trade objectives with future brand growth.

  • Operational Execution at Scale: Translate complex national campaigns into seamless, actionable execution plans across a network of 1,000+ stores, ensuring operational feasibility and safety.

  • Digital & Omnichannel Innovation: Modernise the physical store environment by integrating digital technologies, personalisation, and emerging trends to optimise the customer path-to-purchase.

  • Leadership & Stakeholder Influence: Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team while navigating complex cross-functional relationships to align internal partners and deliver commercial success.

  • Local Market Activation: Develop high impact local marketing strategies through relevant and targeted communications to drive meaningful local engagement


What you’ll bring:


The ideal candidate will be a commercially astute leader who has managed the end-to-end in-store experience for a large-scale, multi-site retail network. You bring a unique blend of strategic marketing vision and the operational 'grit' required to execute complex, high-volume campaigns safely and seamlessly.

  • Senior Industry Experience: 10+ years of integrated marketing leadership within Retail, with a proven track record of managing execution across a large-scale, multi-unit store network.

  • Commercial & Strategic Mastery: A strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, able to leverage deep knowledge of the Australian retail landscape to drive tangible trade results.

  • Exceptional Leadership: Proven capability in building high-performing teams and influencing complex stakeholder relationships at all levels to navigate ambiguity and deliver success.

  • Data-Driven Innovation: Experienced in utilising data insights, customer segmentation, and personalisation to optimise marketing performance and ROI.

  • Qualifications & Values: Tertiary qualified in Marketing or Business, with a genuine passion for food, quality, and sustainability.
