Join the team behind Woolworths MarketPlus (WMP); we are looking for passionate individuals to work on WMP, the innovative platform launched in October 2023. WMP is transforming our online offering by empowering third-party sellers to seamlessly list and manage products across our key marketplace businesses, including Big W, Woolworths Online (Everyday Market), and Everyday Rewards Shop.
Our goal is to expand our product range, providing customers with an unparalleled "one-stop shop" experience for an extensive selection of exclusive online products.
What you’ll do
We are seeking an E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist to drive the optimisation of product presentation, promotional execution, and customer experience across our digital retail platforms. This role combines analytical and commercial expertise to curate compelling product assortments, ensure pricing and content accuracy, and deliver engaging, high-performing campaigns. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance visibility, conversion, and overall sales performance.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Curate and select high-performing deals for WMP hero assets and build product group pages.
Conduct regular homepage audits to ensure content accuracy and functionality, and maintain pricing compliance.
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate content, layout, or functionality issues for a seamless customer experience.
Perform weekly stock-on-hand (SOH) reviews for WMP to confirm product availability and optimal inventory levels.
Track competitor websites for pricing, promotional strategies, and emerging trends, and manage promotional pricing setup in the CRM system.
What you’ll bring
Strong analytical and commercial acumen to interpret data and drive business performance.
Meticulous attention to detail for data accuracy, pricing integrity, and alignment across digital platforms.
In-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms, online retail operations, and marketplace dynamics.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills for customer-focused outcomes.
Proactive problem-solving, initiative, and efficient time management in fast-paced environments.
