Do I have to attach a resume when applying for a role?

Maybe! It depends on the role. If you're interested in one of our frontline roles, you won’t need to attach a resume. For our Store Leader and Support roles, you’ll need to attach your resume as we'd love to learn more about you. But don't worry if you don't have it ready just yet - you can always add it later! Want to apply with your Seek or LinkedIn profile instead? No problem, you can choose that option too.

What is the minimum working age?

We welcome applications from enthusiastic team members who are at least 15 years of age in both Australia and New Zealand.

New store openings

Is a new store opening near you? We start advertising roles towards the end of construction. The best way to stay in the loop is to set up a job alert. We'll then send you an email as soon as positions open in your area.

How does Woolworths support school age applications?

We get it. Applying for your first ever job can be nerve-wracking. Having a parent or guardian with you to help you complete the application process is a great way to make sure you don't miss any important details. There is no need to include a resume if you don't have one, as it won't impact your application to one of our frontline jobs.

Will I be rostered for all the hours I put down that I am available?

It's unlikely. We just need to understand when you would be available for work so we can ensure this job is the right match for you. Any specific requirements will be noted in the job advertisement.
