About us
Construction is now well underway for our new Sydney Chilled and Fresh Distribution Center (SC&F). Located in Eastern Creek NSW SC&F is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 75,000sqm multi-story facility will transform our chilled and fresh operations in Sydney, ensuring we deliver exceptional freshness, quality and range to our customers
What you’ll do
- Collaborating with project teams, system testing (DILO) and operational commissioning
- Managing KPIs, resource planning and budget requirements for your shift.
- Promoting safety values and enforcing compliance with legal obligations and Chain of Responsibility
- Coaching and mentoring Team Leaders and building high performance teams through development planning and succession
- Support the Operations Manager in leading business, operational and special event planning for the relevant shift they are responsible for
- Support the management of 3PL’s to ensure service levels and cost are optimised
- Drive accountability within the business, ensure that the elements of Primary Connect culture are embedded at all levels
What you’ll bring
- Proven track record in operational leadership and people management.
- Experience leading and implementing change, ideally with knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean principles
- Familiarity with OH&S and RTW legislation; incident investigation experience is highly regarded
- Extensive experience in FMCG, Distribution, retail and people management
