Join the team behind Woolworths MarketPlus (WMP), we are looking for passionate individuals to work on WMP, the innovative platform launched in October 2023. WMP is transforming our online offering by empowering third-party sellers to seamlessly list and manage products across our key marketplace businesses, including Big W, Woolworths Online (Everyday Market), and Everyday Rewards Shop.
Our goal is to expand our product range, providing customers with an unparalleled "one-stop shop" experience for an extensive selection of exclusive online products.
We are looking for a Content Writer to join our editorial team and enrich our websites with new page copies, blog posts, guides and marketing copy. As the content writer you will be responsible for conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles along with your application.
About the Role
You’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
Write, edit and proofread page copies.
Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
Update website content as needed
Annual salary range $75,000 to $78,000 base
About You:
1 to 2 years of work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
Portfolio of published articles
Experience doing research using multiple sources
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Ability to meet deadlines
