What you'll do
This is a pivotal opportunity to advance your career and make a tangible impact as our Payroll Reconciliation Specialist. In this role, you will be working with the team that thinks outside the box, utilising your confidence in your knowledge and leading to the overall success of our Payroll Team. You will champion a culture of service excellence and collaboration, ensuring our operations are not only compliant but set the standard for quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurate reconciliation, lodgement, payment and resolution of queries on all the Company Liabilities.
Support and drive the end to end payroll activities, including compliance and end user knowledge with faultless accuracy to our 3rd party and government bodies.
Liaise with POs, BAs, Process Specialists, Functionals, Compliance and Payroll SMEs to build strong working relationships.
Support and drive the Post payroll tasks such as Payroll tax, STP reconciliations, EOM, EOY activities etc. along with excellent communication skills to liaise with External and internal stakeholders.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities through monitoring service performance, employee data and systems analytics to deliver key customer requirements and process/system innovation.
Utilise root cause analysis to resolve complex payroll issues and provide in-depth support for query resolution.
What you'll bring
Demonstrated expertise in leveraging the SAP payroll environment, including in-depth knowledge of the integrated SuccessFactors platform and advanced Excel skills.
A positive mindset with the ability to work effectively autonomously and collaboratively whilst managing competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Have a strong track record of developing talent, using your expert coaching skills and clear feedback to build team capability and confidence.
A comprehensive understanding of the Australian and New Zealand payroll landscape, including relevant legislation, regulations and Enterprise Agreements/Awards, combined with a strong risk lens to ensure unwavering compliance.
An exceptional problem-solving skills and the initiative to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, all while managing competing priorities with high attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
