What you'll do


The Group Marketing Manager - Activation leads a specialised team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of marketing programs and owned events throughout Australia and New Zealand. 


  • Team Leadership: Play a key leadership role within the wider marketing team, including one direct report

  • End-to-End Execution: Oversee the full lifecycle of marketing programs including but not limited to online and in-person events, photography, and content creation to ensure flawless delivery.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Propositions, Comms and channel marketing teams  to define and agree on the essential executional elements for marketing programs.

  • Creative Oversight: Interface with Woolworths  "The Greenhouse" to manage designers and creative talent, ensuring all work meets brand standards and business needs.

  • Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of marketing efforts across the business.

  • Performance & Operations: Manage budgets and timelines effectively while analysing campaign data to optimise results and drive continuous improvement.


What you’ll bring


  • Proven Activation Expertise: At least 7+ years of marketing experience with a deep specialisation in activation and flawless execution.

  • Event Management and Project Management Mastery: A successful track record of delivering complex marketing programs, specifically managing large-scale events with 200+ attendees.

  • Impactful Team Leadership: Strong experience in leading, inspiring, and managing a team of marketing specialists to reach business goals.

  • Stakeholder & Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex internal perspectives.

  • Operational Agility: The ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments while maintaining high levels of accountability and attention to detail.

  • Creative & Analytical Vision: A keen creative eye paired with the curiosity and analytical skill to optimize campaign performance and creative output
