Be nothing but yourself in a culture that is inclusive and innovative. Work as part of an ambitious, smart and passionate team and belong to something meaningful as part of the Woolworths Group.

What you'll do

This senior role is the strategic link between Marketing and Sales within the Media Agency Vertical. You are responsible for transforming deep industry insights into commercial fuel, ensuring the sales team has the narratives, tools, and proof points needed to dominate the retail media space.

  • Strategic GTM Leadership: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and insight-led Go-to-Market programs that translate the brand’s value proposition into revenue growth.

  • Commercial Sales Enablement: Create the narratives, training, and sales tools necessary to empower the sales team to talk about the right topics at the right time.

  • Client & Industry Influence: Lead agency-facing thought leadership and events to establish a clear point of view while gathering insights to refine marketing strategies.

  • Deep Industry Expertise: Maintain an expert-level understanding of the agency landscape and competitor context to inform all vertical priorities and engagement.

  • Research & Performance: Collaborate on bespoke research projects and analyse KPI data to continuously optimise the effectiveness of channel initiatives.

  • Agile Cross-Team Delivery: Operate effectively within a "home and delivery" model, navigating ambiguity to deliver results exclusively for the Agency Vertical.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience Required: 5–7 years of experience in channel marketing, ideally with a strong background in the media agency landscape.

  • Strategic Track Record: Demonstrate a proven history of developing and executing successful marketing strategies specifically tailored to vertical channels.

  • Commercial Storytelling: Exhibit superior storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex data into compelling commercial narratives.

  • GTM & Enablement: Maintain a deep understanding of Go-to-Market frameworks and the creation of tools that drive sales team effectiveness.

  • Stakeholder Management: Show an expert ability to build and influence relationships with both internal cross-functional teams and external agency clients.

  • Proactive Mindset: Display high levels of curiosity and accountability while operating effectively within fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
