The Opportunity
This is a critical project role coordinating the E2E Process & Controls stream of the Finance Systems Transformation (“FST”) program. It delivers systems and process transformation to address key finance (and related business) pain points, process and controls deficiencies, unlocks Finance capacity and capability, enables a finance maturity uplift and enables finance to achieve its strategy

This Business Analyst role will play a key role in the delivery of the Group’s Record to Report (“R2R”) and other business and finance processes. This will include the detailed design, standardisation and implementation of best practice processes and controls, leveraging the S/4 upgrade and its capabilities.

You will also contribute to the scope, design and delivery of technology solutions that are directly related to these e2e processes, as required.

What you’ll do

  • End-to-End Business Process Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of business and finance process improvements, including design, development, implementation, and control embedding.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Alignment: Coordinate with other program streams to ensure interdependencies are considered and decisions align with enterprise-wide objectives.
  • Risk Management and Governance: Assess, manage, and support delivery and delivered risks through relevant governance and delivery forums, using an iterative approach.
  • Process Transformation and Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, standardization, automation, and control enhancement, including leveraging upstream systems.
  • Knowledge Management and Documentation: Document end-to-end processes and establish a knowledge management operating model with process owners.
  • Leadership and Team Support: Provide project leadership, advocate for the program, and offer guidance and thought leadership to junior team members.

What you’ll bring

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a variety of finance roles
  • Experience in designing business and finance processes (P2P, A2R, R2R and O2C experience would be highly regarded)
  • Experience working in a large and complex finance systems and process implementation program (accounting process design and implementation highly regarded)
  • Experience in facilitating a variety of people; experience in storytelling and presenting to senior business stakeholders
  • Proactive, independent problem-solver who thrives on ambiguity, drives initiatives forward, and collaborates effectively with stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes.

What you’ll experience

  • A progressive and flexible ‘Work from Anywhere’ policy that gives you more control over your work, life and wellbeing.
  • A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
  • Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.
