What you’ll do

As the Senior Business Analyst for Personalisation, you will report to the Head of AI and lead the evolution of our personalisation strategy. You'll use data-driven decisioning to deliver tailored communications at scale, ensuring optimal outcomes for both the business and our members. This key role requires expertise in personalisation platforms, strong analytical skills, and collaboration across product, data, and marketing teams.

  • Facilitate discovery workshops to capture business goals, challenges, and new personalisation opportunities.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, prioritised functional specifications and design elements for our solutions.
  • Partner with architects, data scientists, and engineers to design technically robust and scalable personalisation solutions.
  • Define decision logic, optimisation frameworks, and governance guardrails for testing and operational control.
  • Manage initiatives from development to launch, coordinating quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Develop clear documentation and training materials to support stakeholder adoption and ensure smooth integration of new tools and processes.
  •  Analyse and document integration points within the tech stack to create a connected, user-centric ecosystem and ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by documenting evolving business needs and ensuring all decisions deliver optimal outcomes for the customer and the business.

What You’ll Bring

Coming from a digital background, you will demonstrate business acumen, excellent communication and technical know-how that will help drive success. You will be able to narrow in on the data and the detail, and widen to see the bigger picture. Most importantly, you will have a strategy and skills to take an idea from inception to delivery.

You will also have:

  • 5-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferable in digital, martech or decisioning/ personalisation environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering agile initiatives in high performing teams as a business analyst in a digital environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Data driven and able to make judgement calls when necessary
  • Experience in Jira/Confluence for managing boards and project documentation
  • Innovative thinking and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data analytics, AI, and reporting is an added advantage

What you’ll experience

A commitment to flexibility through a hybrid working model which combines time spent at a support office or hub and time working from home, supporting both in-person connection and balancing the flexibility that remote working provides for our teams.

  • High-impact role supporting our teams who enrich our communities.
  • A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
  • A range of programs to help you prioritise and manage your wellbeing, including 24/7 access to the Sonder app.
  • A progressive and competitive leave policy that gives you more space for what matters to you.
  • Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.
