What you'll do

As our Payroll Advisor, you will be our SME for your fellow payroll peers, providing essential support and troubleshooting for any process, system, or operational issues that arise in payrun.

• Act as the 2nd tier case resolution and support on the payrun, operations and query management.

• Build capability in our Payroll Officers.

• Deep dive into root cause analysis on payroll issues, being able to proactively raise and support on improvements and corrective actions in payroll operations.

• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across people systems, while acting as SME to peers and internal teams.

• Be comfortable working a rotating late Monday night to support and enable payrun for the national business.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years experience in the payroll environment, ideally in a large, complex organization, with knowledge of payroll processes and legislation across AU & NZ.

• Sound experience and comfort using SAP, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, Kronos & the Microsoft & Google suites.

• Experience in investigations of payrun issues and data end-to-end.

• Excellent critical thinking and holistic problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly pivot priorities and manage continuous task shifting.

• Self-driven and agile mindset, with comfort in acting as a mentor and escalation point.
